If the AQAL Browser is not displayed in Internet Explorer you can display it by going to (in Internet Explorer) View -> Toolbars and checking "AQAL Browser."
Overview
The AQAL Browser analyzes html web pages in Internet Explorer and displays the results of the analysis in the AQAL Browser bar. The AQAL Browser can also, optionally, highlight all the words found on each web page that match AQAL map elements from the AQAL database at http://www.aqalpedia.org/.
AQAL Browser has just been released, is not comprehensive, and may contain errors and ambiguous phrases. Use the AQAL Browser to help you learn to analyze pages yourself by critically examining the results presented.
Words or phrases, such as "stock options" or "multicultural" are matched to Levels (Orange and Green respectively in this case). The resulting number of words found for each type, and their relative percentages, are shown in the AQAL Browser bar. The AQAL Browser defaults to only matching Levels, but you can turn on or off matching for Levels, States, Quadrants, Zones and Spheres in the Options menu.
Even a couple matching phrases often correctly determines the Levels in the whole page. A larger number of matches is a stronger indicator (taking into account that a page with a lot of text is likely to have more matches than a page with a small amount of text).
Hilite Toggles whether to highlight phrases on the current page displayed in Internet Explorer. Phrase are highlighted according to their associated colors, which are displayed in the AQAL Browser.
More Results are displayed across the AQAL Browser. The types with the highest word count on the page are to the left of the bar. If there is not enough room to display all of the results in the AQAL Browser, the remainder of the types are viewable in the "More" dropdown.
Options - Levels, Quadrants, etc. You can turn on/off analysis for various AQAL maps (e.g. Levels, Quadrants) here.
Options - Auto Match Words If auto match words is on, each page is analyzed, and highlighted if "hilite" is on, as soon as it is loaded. If auto match words is off you can press the "Match Now" button on the AQAL Browser to analyze/highlight a page once it is loaded.
Options - Refresh Word Lists When the AQAL Browser is opened the online database is downloaded to the AQAL Browser. If you have left the AQAL Browser open for a long time (many days) you may wish to occasionally update the AQAL Browser to the latest online changes by clicking "Refresh Word Lists."
Options - Show Report Shows a list of all phrases matched on the current page, and the number of times each phrase appears. Report appears in a new window so you may need to tell your pop up blocker to allow pop up windows in order to see the report.

Troubleshooting
I am in Internet Explorer but I don't see the AQAL Browser bar. The AQAL Browser bar is generally displayed in Internet Explorer at the top of the page near the "Back" button and the address bar that shows what the address is for the web page you are currently viewing. If you cannot find the AQAL Browser go to (in Internet Explorer) View -> Toolbars and make sure "AQAL Browser" is checked.
I clicked "Show Report" but nothing happened. Your pop up blocker is preventing Show Report from opening a new Internet Explorer window to show the results. Disable your pop up blocker, or temporarily allow pop ups to be displayed.
The AQAL analysis of a page I viewed seems incorrect / incomplete. Aqalpedia is constantly improving and you may be able to help. Please send the web address of the page you were viewing, along with what results you were expecting to see, or what phrases you think should be added or removed to info@aqalpedia.org.
I am browsing the Internet but the AQAL Browser bar is not showing any results. Open the options menu and click "Refresh Word Lists." Also make sure that "Auto Match Words" is checked in the options menu (unless you are manually clicking "Match Now" for each page). You must be connected to the Internet to use the AQAL Browser even if you are viewing a web page that is stored on your computer.
I cannot click "Show Report" in the options menu ("Show Report" is greyed out). Open the options menu and click "Refresh Word Lists." If there are no words matched on the web page you are viewing the "Show Report" button will be greyed out and not clickable.
